Dr. Sophia Asaviour
"The Voice of Peace"
A seasoned communicator with more than 20 years' experience in print, radio and television media, Dr. Asaviour is the Executive Producer & Program Director of Destiny's Light Radio and president of the Network.
With her background in communications, she brings an intimately refreshing voice and wealth of knowledge in areas of peace, philosophy, religion, politics, as well as employment, and human & social services. Dr. Asaviour (aka) Carolyn Crocheron is an international community developer, author, theologian, educator, researcher, organizer, youth counselor, journalist, photographer, and dynamic speaker. She is also a transformational life counselor and spiritual retreat designer. She is the c0-founder of La Maison de Ma Mere de Priere and founder of Peace of the World International. For the past 30 years, she has dedicated her life to the building of peace, the eradication of poverty, and enriching the lives of women and children the world over.
Because of her extraordinary interviewing skills, Dr. Asaviour conducts what she calls "Inner Views" of her guests that uncover the intimate side of their life, work, skills, and dreams and presents a deeper story to her audience.
Dr. Asaviour produced and served as the host of the Friend Ship in both Cincinnati Ohio and Jackson Michigan and the Jackson Journal. She founded and served as Editor in Chief of Legacies in Time (a quarterly journal) published 1990-92. Articles from Legacies were republished in The Blazer News in a column entitled "Digging for Gold." She is the author of two books ~ Under the Influence and Talking to MySelf with a new book being released in the summer of 2007.
